Premier Ag Systems’ Project Goals
For this LED project, focusing on Premier Ag Systems’ building project for Jesse and Jordan Langdsgard’s barns in Northeast Iowa, Sitler’s goal was to provide durable, environmentally friendly LED lighting, installed simply and efficiently by electricians. The Landsgard structures were built by Premier as a swine facility and a perfect fit for ONCE agriculture animal specific lighting technology provided by Sitler’s LED Supplies.
LED Overhaul with ONCE Agriculture Lighting
ONCE Innovation’s dim to red swine lights were the right fit for this project’s objectives.
They are manufactured to reduce animal stress and improve their welfare, as well as accelerate growth. These unique lights provide all of the amazing benefits of more standard LEDs: a larger lumen count coupled with lower wattage, little heat output, better durability, and a long lifespan.
When slowly dimmed down to red, a light on the color spectrum swine are unable to see, farmers are able to walk and work amongst their livestock without disrupting sleep by abruptly turning on bright lights.
